My name is Szilárd Goda.
I have been a daysailor on Lake Balaton for 25 years, passionate about sailing since I got my Lego ship at the age of 5. I love teaching this sport to everyone who would like to handle a boat on their own. Welcome on board!
I am a skipper on the sea
I passed the 12-mile C-level seamaster course at the Hungarian Yacht Academy in 2023. I am very proud that I had the chance to learn from my professor, Tibor Vass, and to work in an amazing team on his sea course. I learnt the way to respect the sea.
I have been racing for many years
I have been racing for 20 years in the university sailing club in different classes. Since I started my own sailing business, I find it more exciting to make new friends at weekends than to race — but if you wish to race, I am happy to prepare you.
Who is the boat?
Her name is Jackpot, the sailboat.
Jackpot was built in 1987 at the Reesemarin Shipyard in Denmark, as number 32 of the 200 fantastic Dynamic 35 yachts designed by Jan Kjærulff, the famous designer of the best fast Baltic Sea sailboats. Jackpot started her career at Bodensee and spent more than 30 years in Switzerland. In 2020 she moved to Hungary, renovated by the famous Hungarian shipbuilder István Bali at the Bali Performance shipyard, and has served many nice families who wanted to try sailing and develop their boat handling skills — as both a race and a family cruise boat.
